These Walking Cradles (a slide called Alva) are the first pair of WC I've ever owned, and they were extremely comfortable from the first time I pulled them out of the box and tried them on. The style is flattering, too, even if it is white (which some say makes them look larger than darker colors), and I'm thoroughly pleased with my purchase. The price was fair, and I wouldn't be surprised if I found myself ordering a pair in another color one of these days. The style is simple enough to dress up or dress down. They enhance just about any outfit short of a cocktail dress. Okay, maybe even that, depending on your idea of fashion! In short, it was an OUTSTANDING BUY!The shoes have been worn with two separate summer outfits and I couldn't be happier. It's hard to find comfortable slides in a size Wide.I was optimistic, but this shoe is a huge disappointment! First off, it's made in China, so the sizing of the shoe is not accurate. I ordered a Med width, but the shoe bed is obviously a narrow. I've ordered other walking cradle styles, and returned them for the exact same reason-why did I bother! If you have a narrow foot- you might consider this shoe. Also, the foot bed feels very hard, especially towards the heel of the shoe. 2 stars for the leather and style.It took a lot of stretching but they fit pretty well now. The insoles and heels are very comfortable.I sent the Walking Cradle Alva slides to my 82 year old mother-in-law as a gift. She can't stop talking about them. She said they are the most comfortable shoes she has ever worn. She says it is like walking on pillows. I bought her a wide and it fits perfectly. I'm so happy that she is so happy. Hmmmmmmm I think I foresee a Christmas gift in a different color!I bought the Walking Cradles Alva Slides to replace a similar pair of Ecco slides that I loved until the dog ate them. These Walking Cradles slides are probably the most comfortable casual shoes I've ever worn. There was no break-in period. The insole is comfortable without socks - no rubbing or chafing. They're comfortable and cute. I plan to buy more in other colors and get rid of some of the uncomfortable shoes in my closet!I bought these for my mother who is in her 80s. She was so thrilled, and please with the comfort and fit, that she wants another pair! All she talked about was how comfortable these shoes are. She had recently purchased 2 pair of another brand and afer tryng these shoes on, she stopped wearing the othe r two. She claims there is no comparison. So, if she's happy, Im happy.Comfortable but I am having issues wearing any heals at all which is not the manufacturer's fault. I will say that they look like slippers and I feel frumpy wearing them.
