Love the boots and can wear them all day walking or hiking without any arch fatigue. New Balance is known for this. I have terrible pronate feet and these are perfect for that. The two things they suffer from are the weight is heavy and the souls are bot as slip resistant as compared to most competitors in the same price range. I can handle the weight as a tradeoff for arch support and correct foot flexion, but a water proof hiker needs special attention to preventing slipping on wet and icy surfaces. These provide little protection from that, so i docked it one star. You could really hurt yourself hiking or walking on wet and slippery areas, so take extra caution if you need the arch support and correct flexing points these provide.It's comfy, fits well, but if you are looking for a boot, this looks like one. But it's not.On my fourth pair of these boots. Most comfortable boot ever. I’d give it 5 stars if it really was waterproof.What I like:This so far has been one the best walking based footwear I've had it's comfortable enough to walk around in all day and helps with my over pronation. The toe box is roomy and the rollbar feature provides stability at the rear end of the foot. They seem to be water resistant up to a certain extent which is nice.What I don't like:As for it being a wide this third pair I got seems not as wide, but It could be my foot.The sole seems to loosen from the rollbar area after few months of use and this can make the a little less comfortable to be in because of my over pronation.My second pair I had pulled a way from the sole and the outside leather siding busted open.Overall they're a bit pricy to fail within 5 months of heavy use, but they are very comfortable to wear if you can find them in stock. That's another thing about these they seem to take a long time to get back in stock in the larger and wide sizes.Great Hiking boot and for everyday walkingThese "boots" are the most comfortable, especially when broken in, I've ever worn. Every time I've bought them, they've came made Different in some way or another. It's an inconsistent build, but the design is still the best I've ever worn over time. Of course, these aren't REAL boots; therefore, they fall apart after eh, about 5-6 months. I feel like I'm walking effortlessly though for years on end spending roughly $150 each time. They're probably only worth only $70 if that given their paltry durability, but the brief months of pure comfort I can't live without. These will be hard to replace. I suppose I could get a boot repair shop to repair them. I've kept all my ripped up old pairs in case these are no longer made and it seems they Are being out of stock more and more in my size so. Effortless walk, like walking on air, and it's in the name, New "BALANCE." I have such sure footing with these. Not all "New Balance" iterations of models/designs make you feel balanced in your walk, in your step, but these do. Why do these shoe companies just discontinue the best design? makes no sense, and ALL shoes should pattern this design period, except someone should make them durable.Great fit very comfortable to walk inNice comfortable boot. On 12 September 2020 I bought a pair of newbalance walking boots at a cost of £169 09, the right boot has split. I request to return them. The same day I got this reply Dear customer, We are sorry for that, and apologise but we only have 30 days return policy, the order was ordered back on september and passed the 30 days return period. Also, it has already been used and might be the reason why it split.What we can do for now is to reach the manufacturer factory of this item so we can raise your feedback and they can help us out on this issue. 7 March no reply. SHOULD I NOT HAVE USED THEM?Awesome for wet weather and the winter. Also a nice boot for a casual dinner out. Very comfortable even for a size 14 flat foot like me with a double e width.I always buy these shoes, always good fit and great quality.Excellent price and fast service with this seller on amazon.I Haven't worn them much, but I like them.
