This wheel tape does not give the impression it will last a long time, but it will be OK for household jobs. I am using it to measure my walking routes and to layout a car show I am organizing. It's fine for those things.The wheel is held on to the frame by a plastic pin, which is probably the weak link in this thing.Don't get it if you need super accurate measurements. I checked it against a 100 foot tape measure I laid on the ground and this wheel always measured between 101 and 102 feet.It is difficult to get the telescoping handle to stay in place, it is very cheaply made. However, it does seem to measure distance somewhat accurately. Devices like this are for measuring down to the inch, our use was to see how far my wife walked each exercise period. Accuracy to the foot was more than enough. I would not buy this again, and I will have to tape the joints in the telescoping handle to keep it extended.Easy to use . Makes measuring rooms easy,I needed this for measuring our throwing sectors for track's field events. Not rugged by any stretch, but it serves its purpose well.It does count "backwards" this can be a little annoying when trying to start your measure, but very handy if you aren't paying attention and go over.Our coaching staff are all short people, so the handle's height was fine for us. Anything over 5'6" and you may be hunched which would be a challenge if you actually have to measure 9999ft.Since it's light weight it makes it travel well, but can be bounced easily on uneven terrain.We never actually checked it against a tape measure. We used it to ballpark practice throws/jumps so we weren't too picky on it being super accurate. If you need super accuracy, get a 600ft tape measure.If you need to line a soccer field or set up cones every 10 or 20ft for throwers it is fine.I ordered this wheel tape in order to measure for some upcoming landscaping projects. Since I didn't see much other uses for it, I wanted to spend as little as possible. Considering several factors, I decided that this was the best option for my needs. However, when it arrived, I was really pleasantly surprised at its generous size.....especially the wheel itself, which had been my only concern. I had looked at some here in town at the big box home improvement stores, and they weren't any better but more than twice the price! Plus, now that I have it in hand, I can see many other uses for it, such as measuring interior rooms. I am extremely pleased at the construction, quality and especially the wheel size and definitely would recommend this to anybody with a similar need. Another good product, great value and on-time delivery by AMAZON.......my favorite place to shop!!! Saves me time, gasoline and eliminates impulse shopping. And with PRIME, I save tons on shipping costs and get my purchases really quickly as well.I am a physical therapist, and have used this to calculate the total distance my patients ambulate. It has always been on solid and even ground. It held up for a while. But within a couple weeks I had to duck tape it in full telescoped length as the clips that allow it to become shorter broke off. I ended up continuing to use this for another 4 months taped, but it eventually became too loose and wobbily. I bought a different measuring wheel about 10 dollars more, and it has so far lasted over a year and I still have it. This product was okay for the price, but not worth it for how quickly it broke on me :/Does not work, goes to 20 ft then stops working, did not trying using it until after the return deadline so I am stuck with a wheel that only goes to 20 ftThe spring loaded reset lever didn’t work well and eventually broke after a few months of use.
