If you have not heard this soundtrack, you would be doing yourself a service to add it to your collection. Of course seeing the movie makes the plaintive chanting of Nurat Fateh Ali Khan more meaningful, however, the CD stands on its own as one of the most riveting and meaningful CD's in my collection of hundreds. Eddie Vedder adds haunting vocals greatly creating an interesting merging of Eastern and Western culture rarely accomplished so beautifully. My go-to CD when all other options of hiking, writing, reading fails at lifting my spirits and open my heart to the wonders of life.
