I highly recommend.This looks beautiful and I didn't find any kinks or anything. But unlike other non-felt desk mats I have seen, these felt mats don't have any stitches on edges, and are on the thinner side of desk mats. So I do doubt the longevity of these desk mats. I haven't had any tears from it yet thoughPackaging was superb. It came in a box and rolled in another cylindrical box of sorts and no damage to the box and item. Easy to set and the item will conform to the desk in no time. I was initially unsure of it gripping well on the desk, but so far no complaints. It also does not seem to pick up dirt easily.Extremely pleased with this. I wanted something neutral for work that was comfortable to place my hand. I have no issues with moving my mouse. The backing keeps it secure on the desk no sliding issues. My purchase also came with a smaller mouse pad though not in the same material and a strap to roll up the mouse pad for travel. Mat unrolled quickly and went completely straight within 24 hours. Mat doesn't have any no-name, unintelligible Chinese company branding on it, which is a huge plus for me when buying things like this from Amazon. Came in a high quality cardboard tube, included a mousepad (not using) and a strap to keep the mat rolled up in case you were transporting it. I would highly recommend this over spending the extra money on a Grovemade for marginal difference.Very comfortable.The product is a great size and it offers virtually no resistance to moving your mouse around. With a decent mouse, you can achieve precision movement with ease.It’s not well finished around the edges and as it’s relatively high off the desk, your wrists (and jumper sleeves) do rub up against it.Also, and this is probably common to all these desk pads, as it’s rolled in a tube, the edges do want to curl back, especially the edge that was in the innermost roll. You can flatten it out with heavy objects, and it’s a minor inconvenience, but it isn’t quite “ready to use” out of the box.first, it does come in really nice packaging. it feels like you're about to get a really premium product. Then, hoewever you open the tube it comes rolled in and you wonder how this costs as much as it does. Don't get me wrong, I know that this is on the cheap side when it comes to large desk mats. Even then it's way overpriced. The mat is thin and flimsy. Doesn't have any heft to it. it is grippy on the back but the material cannot be very durable when its this thin. Also, the size is supposed to be 100cm x 40cm but actually it's 99cm x 40cm. that might not sound like much and it isn't but it's not what its advertised as.the felt is smooth so it feels easy to clean that's also a downside. its sooth but not soft. like fake suede just not very good fake suede. Doesn't feel nice at all to the touchI gave it two stars for the packaging. everything else is a let down.This arrived earlier than expected and it was rolled nicely into a strong cardboard tube so there were no nasty creases or folds once unpacked. The bottom of the mat has a nice grip on the desk and the top is very comfortable. It feels high quality.My only (very minor) complaint is that the edges of the mat aren't very smooth so if your bare forearms are resting across the edge, you can really feel the edge on your skin. I suspect the edges I come into regular contact with will soften over time so it doesn't bother me enough to take a star off my rating. On the whole, this is a great product and I'm really happy with it.I really like the look of this desk mat but sadly the texture is too irritating to use. I found that while moving the mouse or typing the movements are irritating any skin touching the mat.It's also not wanting to lay flat after being rolled when shipped. Maybe over the course of a few weeks, it could flatten out but I can't handle how much this thing is making me itch so I'm not willing to find out.Product looks amazing on the desk, however I had to stop using it after 2 day I developed a rash from friction burn of pushing my wrist around on the abrasive surface of the mat.
