Was privileged to read this in 2015 while working with special operators during OIF/OEF. Young men and women injured or killed in war. It gave me a new way of thinking about pain and suffering. Now several years later, it sustains me during my stage 4 cancer diagnosis. It seems that in reading this in 2015, has prepared me for my own experience. I thank God for the insight the book provided me for my own journey home.
