For someone else, these shoes might be perfect - for me, the slope pushed my foot forward and my toes were compressed by the cut in front. Having sensitive feet, I couldn't comfortably wear them even for an hour. However, they are absolutely beautiful shoes - the design, color and leather were classy and understated - you could wear them with both dressy and more casual clothes. Amazon's price was great as well. I wish that I could wear them!These shoes are just okay. The wedge is rubber and not the patent leather, which makes it look rather cheap. I took notice of the previous comments in relation to the size and ordered a 8.5, which would normally be an 8. They are comfortable and well made, but not what I would have purchased if I had seen them first.Not as pretty as picture and the patent leather quality is not the best ( just from the packaging they already have scuff marks)I had tried the 6.5 medium width and it was too narrow. I hoped the wide would work, but it was too wide. The shoe is very attractive and well priced, but I couldn't get it to fit me comfortably.Fits perfect. I have wide feet and a little smaller than a 9 but bigger than an 8.5. I bought a 9 and can walk for hours in these shoes and never get sore feet. LOVE them.Great fit and comfortable. They do make a little noise when walking as if air is in the sole but they are extremely comfortable.Quality was great. Comfortable shoe. Could not find right fit for "my" foot.Very comfortable.
