Bought these as reasonably priced walking shoes. Bought then because they appeared to have sturdy soles and they do. Took note of comment about the tightness across the toes at about the ball of the foot. That is true but foot conformed quickly and shoe expanded to the point of not being a bother after sever days of 3-4 miles per day of walking. Tie like boots with rings and quick lace hooks and appear to be waterproof. After about 100 miles soles are beginning to show wear particularly on the outsides of the heel. Would however, probably buy again.Fits well, walks well, supports my weight well.Extraordinarily uncomfortable. After wearing them for under an hour, my feet feel as if they’ve be smacked with a rubber mallet. The toe box is also too small. Steve Martin’s “Cruel Shoes” comedy routine springs to mind.I returned these Propet shoes because they were too tight. The more I purchase from Propet the more I realized how inconsistent they are with their shoe sizes. My shoe size is 9 xx-wide (which is a 5E). However, half of the 6 shoes I have purchased did not fit in the width section. I either returned them or had to pay extra for my cobbler to get the shoes stretched.Not true to sizeRuns big very heavy shoeThis shoe is no where near 5E. Very poor fit. I will not buy shoes from this seller again.Bought for my son. Says they are hot to wear.
