I LOVE these boots. They can be dressed up (I wear them to work with tights and a skirt) or down and are comfortable all day long. I have walked around town for hours and hours in these boots and my feet feel awesome to the end. I don't wear them when it's raining or wet outside because the water drops cause them to be temporarily discolored (they look normal again once they dry!), but I wear them in virtually any other situation. I ordered them in an 8M (the size I always wear), and they fit perfectly. My foot is very average in width and, although these boots are on the narrower side, they fit me wonderfully. I would say that if you have an average width foot, order your usual size. If you have a wider foot OR want to wear these boots with thick socks, buy a size slightly larger than you usually wear. I've only worn them with thinner socks, but I can tell they would be pretty snug with thick socks.I originally ordered the size 8.5 boots in the regular width, and when they arrived they were too tight. Amazon was amazing at the return/replacement process. I received the wider width boots so fast it was almost unbelievable! The wider boots were so much more comfortable, but they stretched a bit and are now a little too roomy. Flipside: I can add additional orthotic support to the boots. The Walking Cradles have decent leather arch supports but I actually need more substantial support for my aging feet! Otherwise, I find these quite gentle and adorable. I use them for work where I have to be on my feet for several hours. They are stylish without sacrificing comfort. I gave them five stars because they are very well made, the leather appears to be high quality, the heel has tread and is sturdy, and they offer comfort as well as style.I have a closet full of Clark's Artisan boots and booties consisting of multiple pairs of two specific styles in black and brown. After reading reviews on several brands of 'comfort' shoes, I started looking at Walking Cradles Elite. Good choice...I chose The Cheyenne; edgy with a western flare yet so comfortable and stylish. These are very well made of soft leather, tight stitching, the buckle can be adjusted, the zipper works smoothly and most importantly they fit perfectly. The foot bed is rounded...another benefit. I was concerned as these are made in Brazil and other reviewers had mentioned sizing issues. I am a size 10B, with the exception of Clark's Artisan Daria III boots. I need a 10W. These boots fit surprisingly well, out of the box. The heel is perfect for standing and walking for lengths of time.I love this boot. With its soft, smooth leather, it is stylish, well made and very comfortable. In the wider width, the boot seems a bit larger overall than a regular size 6. Because of this I do need to wear thicker socks with it, and it does slip just slightly in the heel, though not enough to cause discomfort. All in all, it is one of the best pairs of shoes I've ever owned.I had surgery 1 year ago on my foot - and haven't worn anything with a 'heal' since then... nothing buy sneakers. I am happy to say these boots are super comfortable! I have worn them 2x so far and ZERO foot pain/concerns! I wish the other color wasn't this affordable! LOVE THEM!The size is just a little tight but I kept them anyway because I loved the look and quality of this bootie. In reading other reviews, they stretch out.These shoes are GREAT! Only gave 4 stars because I did not realize that they would come up over my ankle.I think that I actually wear a 6.5 C, but I decided to try the medium width since the wider width cost $140 MORE--an amazing price jump just because of the size. I like the style, but they just weren't quite wide enough, so I had to return them.
