I love New Balance walking shoes. These are perfect! I wear a 6WW2, they are not easy to find except with new balance and it is the only shoe that not only fits perfectly but gives me the arch support and springy walk I get. They were doing alot of reshaping of the walking shoe for awhile and I was not able to even get this for a few years so I hope they leave these alone! I've been an RN for 31 years and I'm pretty sure this is the only nursing shoe I have ever worn. I don't like that they keep coming out with different numbers, most seem the same to me, 824, 825, 812, 813, I could go on if I could remember the rest. Especially if you have a wide foot I think you'd like these. Unfortunately, I was not given a free pair of shoes to write this review. I just love these alot and if you have sore feet from your shoes try these. A little spendy but you can't put a price on your feet if they're comfortable.i haven't wore yet but already own a pair i got at the New Balance store over a year a go wear when i leave the house i have the thing in the heel My Foot DR told me to wear these but he gave me RX for a more ugly Tennis shoe i did not like so the man at store sold these to me for a &100 dollars with an insert for $45 foot and heel feels good now been watching for quite a while for some one to have these cheaper They told me thes e were leather but they are only part leather ?? Buy these well worth it i got these for $ 60 on here Thanks AmazonI have Fred Flintstone feet, just as long as wide. These sneakers give me what I need, width and depth. I have been wearing the same style for several years. Good support and wear well. In fact, when I had to go for physical therapy for my leg, the MD told me that these New Balance sneakers were a good choice.I was in a panic because I had been wearing the same New Balance walking shoe for about 4 years now and found that particular line was discontinued. After some searching I realized that they had just changed the item description and number but the shoe was pretty much the same. I am thinking that they may have separated themselves from the Susan G Koman organization (all my old pairs have pink ribbons on them) and thus they had to "re-create" this particular shoe with a new product number and descriptionSo if you are searching for the New Balance 811 with the product code/number ww811wt then this is the replacement shoe and fits just the same.It is sometimes risky buying a shoe online but I live in a rural area that is 40 miles to the nearest mall. It is not always a sure thing that the stores in the mall will have something like this style of shoe in stock so, many times I am forced to make purchases online. I have never been disappointed with New Balance shoes and this one is great. Very comfortable and didn't require any "breaking in" period. I would buy this shoe again and will never consider any brand other than New Balance.These are a replacement for an older pair which I like. I originally wore the WW811, and I liked it better, but it is not made any more. I had to go to a wide in the WW812, but they are fine for me. They last a long time, and give good side support. I use an arch support insert, so I am unaware as to how good they are for arch support otherwise.It's almost impossible to find shoes that fit me, but these tenny runners do. I work in a kitchen and wear them for my shift. I also try to go for a long walk/hike a couple times a week and they are perfect for that also. Lots of support, comfortable, and best of all - they fit.LOVE them!! They are much lighter than my other New Balance sneakers, fit perfectly, & you can't beat the price!! I just ordered another pair in white plus a black pair, bec I'm afraid I'll never see them again at this price in my size.
