I've been using a microwavable pad with beads and wanted to try something else when it was no longer working. I like the velvet texture of the material, but I don't think it lends itself to heat. It got damp/sweaty after I tried it. And it takes longer to get warm than the one I had from the drugstore.It is a bit flimsy. It says to heat on 35 sec, and that does nothing. So, I heat it on 130 min. Also does not say hot for very long. And the middle is very thin, hardly any seeds in it.UPDATE:Now at 5 stars! The seller contacted me about the typo and they’re plans to fix it! As I said before, this is a great provider and obviously great customer service!Very nice quality heat pack. Only reason I didn’t give this 5 stars is because it says in the title “2-pack” but it only came with one. Not sure if my order was messed up or that’s just a typo but either way I’m quite content with the heat pack so I’m just blaming it on a typo.Soft, fairly comfortable. Good size, more practical than some 5-lb bag of corn. Only took off a star because it's thicker than it seems in the photos, and the seeds tend to all get smushed into the end sections, leaving the middle section kinda unevenly empty.This is a nice heating pad. It’s not too big or too small. You can throw it in the microwave for a few minutes and it’s comes out nice and warm. I like the way it feels (soft) on my skin.We ordered this microwaveable warmer because we were expecting an ice storm. We have two feral cats we tend to and thought it may help them. Turns out the cats found a safe, dry place to stay. My husband ended up using for himself and he really likes it. He uses it to keep his hands warm it puts it in his neck for relaxation. It is very soft and conforms shapes easily. Great purchase.I tried for the first time last night and I LOVED It! It stayed warm about 1/2 hour and was very comfortable to lay on. I will be a few more.I ordered the compress due to a salivary gland blockage problem located behind my ear near the back of my jaw. This fits wonderfully round the area to assist with alleviating pain and discomfort. The product heats as expected and I ordered another to place in the freezer for those times an ice pack is required.
