My husband has 6E width these are the only sneakers he will wear the fit is great!Finding shoes that fit my short (8.5), super wide (6E), high-instep feet tends to be a challenge. Therefore, I was thrilled when I slipped these stylish kicks on and found them to be incredibly comfortable. But, comfort standing briefly on carpet is one thing... what about after having walked all day on hard surfaces? Happily, even after a full day walking around outside, these shoes were still comfortable. Comfort while walking is also excellent. These shoes provide good all-around support and they look good to boot. They are comparable in comfort to my New Balance 1540 Mesh v2's. I have only had them for about a month so I can't speak to durability yet but so far, I am very pleased with the purchase as finding true EEEEEE wide shoes is tough.I will give two stars because the shoes look nice but they are not as strong as the original Spira Scorpius that inspired me to buy this one. Only a few days of use and a small part of the heel was chipped by an object I wasn't sure about. This would never happen to the Scorpius because the sole is very strong and sturdy. I have worn that shoe for about 6 years!!Wide is now defined several ways. If you were a "6E" that was extra wide. Now they use various scales and labels. However they don't always cross over between brands and MANY STORES ON AMAZON SAY THEY HAVE EXTRA WIDE, THEN SEND 4E OR SIZE XXXX, AND THAT IS NOT THE SAME AS 6E.Buyer beware. These shoes seem to be the right size and were marketed as EXTRA WIDE.The last "spring loaded" walking shoe I bought was falling apart within 90 days of purchase. I finally threw them out after year. It had two large springs, whereas this one has three with the two in the front being smaller. Maybe that will keep the shoe from wearing out ridiculously fast.I’ve been an avid wearer of Hoka Bondi for the past several years. While Hoka is more cushioned, this shoe keeps my feet from hurting all day on concrete. Excellent toe box room and neutral foot support.These shoes are excellent! If you have wide feet then you should consider these. I was stuck only buying new balance and assics. These are a nice option though they are pricy. They are very comfortable. I walk on the outside of my feet and these helped me stop rolling my ancles so much. The shoes are really durable. I've gone to the beach, gone to the woods, they are still good! I've owned for over a month now and they are still not fully broken in. But they are comfortable.Well made good looking shoe perfect fit but needs toe box depth. Wave walker same brand better for walking. Still easy on the foot
