I loved these shoes, they were a perfect fit. I actually wore the bottoms out of them after only one year of wearing them. I tend to not pick my feet up all the way a lot. That is the only thing that has upset me with these shoes is that the soles are warn with a hole in them (my fault). They are a bit pricey but I have ordered a second pair today because they were so amazing. I have ankle and feet issues and these were so comfortable.Edited to add: I have now gone through two pairs of these shoes, this time I took great care to pick my feet up but I still wore a hole into the bottom of one of the shoes and now I can only wear them when it is dry out. I love them so much but I cannot afford to pay for a third pair!I have hard to fit feet. I need wide widths and they are nearly impossible to find in my area. So I turned to Amazon. I read the reviews and chose this pair. I can't say they are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned, but they are comfortable, with a thin insert added. I'm glad I purchased them. And glad I got the extra wide. They don't make my 9.5 feet look larger than they are.I have funny feet and any pair of shoes I buy takes days if not weeks to break in. However, Walking Cradles are different. This is my second paid of shoes from them and I could not be happier. I feel like I walk on cloud. I got these boots before Misgiving and I was splaying to spend either long week end breaking them in. After turkey dinner we went for a long hike and I was questioning my wisdom and foreseeing blisters.I enjoyed my hike. I developed no blisters or discomfort of any kinds. I went to work and wore my new booth 10 hours straight. Everyone complimented me on how stylish these boots are.If you have funny feet like mine, get these boots.These are amazing! I have large, wide, flat feet (11W) and had given up hope of wearing anything stylish. But I was going on a trip abroad last fall and didn't want to traipse around Europe in my Asics. I went thru several brands and shoe styles. These were the last pair I ordered due to other reviewers saying they ran smaller than Clark's (which I found to be untrue in my case), and they were perfect. They were comfortable immediately, which was great as I left the day after I received them. I probably put 35+ miles of walking in the week following and not a single blister or sore spot. I've had them for over six months now and they've held up beautifully.I took these shoes to Europe and walked almost 100 miles in them. I was a little sore, but my feet felt great. These shoes are incredibly comfortable, light weight and have good grip on the bottom if you are on slippery terrain. I also like that the go above the ankle to provide a little ankle support (not much, but some) which is good for all the walking I was doing.Are these shoes the most attractive shoe I've ever seen, candidly no. But for traveling and walking around these were 1000 times better than wearing sneakers/gym shoes and are exceptionally comfortable. I like these shoes so much I'm buying another pair.These boots were WAY too small. I ordered a 10 wide and the were super tight so I don't know how in the heck you'd consider these wide. I also ordered a pair of Clarks boots at the same time also in 10 wide and they were perfect but a tad too big. So anyway it's weird. Maybe this is just an issue with the wides.These are so comfortable and well-made that I've worn these little black ankle booties just about every day since they arrived. I'm impressed by the leather quality and the smooth side zipper has given me no problem. These seem to run just a little wider than an average boot, I usually order wide shoes and with these that means that they are just a little bit looser than I expected, not a problem with winter socks. As someone that regularly struggles to find good quality leather shoes for large, wide, flat feet- these are really, really great.Really nice boots but they run small. I am a size 7 but I have very narrow feet and they were still really tight. I returned them with no problem.
