This is really handy for my mum who fell and broke her knee. She has to use a walker to get about which requires two hands, so this is ideal for carrying things around. The only reason I haven't given it 5 stars is it was quite a struggle to get it to clip in place on the legs, and it seems to tilt slightly (but then again I may have put it on wrong). I would really recommend this.I think the idea is good but it wouldn't stay on my walking frame. Also it tilted so if you wanted to put a bowl of soup on the caddy/ or a dinner with gravy on it would spill off bowl/ plate . It's sturdy and light weight but not fit for purpose as it won't securely fastened onto a walking frame....as I say it's a good idea . I have returned the caddy and I received a full refund swiftly .Purchased this for my father, to help him carry drinks and food etc around the house. He has a couple of different frames for upstairs and downstairs in the house and for outside. Although this caddy fits on all the frames - it doesn't actually sit flat on any of them. The top tray is therefore not flat, and as such things slide of the plates, and you cant fill cups too high as they will spill easily. Despite that it is a useful addition to have as it means his hands can be free to hold onto the frame and not worry about carrying things around.easy to fix, love the mug holder, but would like to be able to have plate and mug on same level.Just remembed trick whilst travelling on trains from refreshment car back to seat with a tray of coffee - leaving a spoon in the mug lessens the effect of sloshing , it really works. This caddy was intended to help my mother transport drinks or plates whilst using her new walking frame. However, it is just too bulky and makes the frame heavy. Mum is frail and suffering from dementia. She wouldn't be strong enough to remove caddy when not using nor remember to use cup insert for a drink and then remove for a plate.Perhaps if she were more able generally she could benefit from it. The cup insert is effective and holds the mug well and as it has a lip, catches any spills. The lid holds a reasonable size of plate and also the actually space inside the cavity of the caddy is big enough to pile a few things in.. it just doesn't work for us.
