This is a great cane as it is well made, has a good handle, is red so I don't lose it, light weight and I like the position of the hand loop. This is my 5th cane I have had in the last 8 years and highly recommend it.I'm 5'10" it was too short for meI use this not as a cane, but as a hiking stick. I love the fact that the handle is T shaped just like an ice ax, so there are not muscle memory issues. If the stick can handle me in the Rockies, it'll probably work great around town.I've had this about a week. Compared to my collapsible cane this is much sturdier, maybe even lighter, an inch taller at the highest settings and I am really enjoying it. It is comfortable to walk with and easy to handle. When I pick it up it doesn't have that little shimmy that the collapsible does.This is my first cane without a tri-tip and I'm enjoying that too. Maybe not so much if I drop the cane but...The tri-tip does have the advantage of being able to stand by itself if it balanced properly (which it isn't always) but I really did not use that much so I don't miss it a lot.I'm waiting a while to see if my enthusiasm wanes because I want to buy another one. And maybe relegate the collapsible to the trunk of the car as a "just in case" proposition. Oh, I bought blue which I'm also enthusiastic about over what I now see as boring black. And, not to be overlooked, half the price of the collapsible.sturdy and good for supportI was skeptical that I would be able to use it after a car accident. Was time to graduate from walker to cane and it was easy to use, a good height and weight. Used it all through my rehab.This cane does the job but is noisy where the height can be adjusted. I chose black in an effort to be as inconspicuous as possible but the clanking most definitely gives me away.Very sturdy walking cane
