I have hard to fit feet. I need wide widths and they are nearly impossible to find in my area. So I turned to Amazon. I read the reviews and chose this pair. I can't say they are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned, but they are comfortable, with a thin insert added. I'm glad I purchased them. And glad I got the extra wide. They don't make my 9.5 feet look larger than they are.
