Asterom canes are incredible ! This is my sixth cane from them with another on the way ! The ball on top perfectly fits my hand and is comfortable . Really a beautiful looking cane ! I’m 6’2” tall and the 39” length is perfect to me . While I do have five others , this is the one I use most because of how comfortable it is . And the weight is perfect as well ! Not too heavy or too light ! I highly recommend this cane and all Asterom products ! ( and mine is in the cherry finish ….. very rich looking quality )This is a nice looking walking stick but I'm a bit disappointed. I was expecting one solid piece. It's actually three pieces, the main shaft, the handle(goddess) and a ring between them. The handle screws onto the shaft. Even thought they mentioned the weight in the description, it's lighter than, and doesn't feel as solid as, I was expecting. For the price it actually feels kind of cheap.My husband is 6’8” and recently had knee replacement surgery. We knew he would have a need for a cane, so we shopped ahead of surgery. He wanted something special and unique. We were excited when we got to pick up the mermaid cane at post office on way to hospital for surgery. Perfect timing! We were delighted at the quality and craftsmanship. Extra tips were included also. Once home he tried out for height and sturdiness. Perfect! Once he graduates from the walker he will then get to use his cane. It is sure to be a conversation piece. Thank you very much for a beautiful piece of work.What a beautiful product.
