It will have a rounded look once installed and typically used on playgrounds or daycares. Our closed cell foam is a dense foam similar to a pool noodle that absorbs an impact with little give. It has mitered edges and will have a squared look once installed. Found often in garages or damp locations. Our closed cell foam padding will have a square look once installed and has a hook and loop closure system. Here the padding is shown with the hook and loop closure system secured and unsecured. The hook and loop closure system runs the length of the padding. If the padding is 1 or 2 inches too large, please be sure you have the pad installed correctly. Improper installation is the #1 reason padding may not fit. Please be sure the pad looks like a square once installed. You should not see the mitered edges facing towards you. If the padding is 1 inch too big as a 1 inch thick pad, or 2 inches too large for the 2 inch thick padding, please be sure you have the pad installed correctly. Will this fit my rectangular pole?
