i really like this half pad so far. its the right thickness and structurally a lot sturdier than my old half pad that I've used for the last 4 years. My horse doesn't have high withers as he is a Clydesdale/TB but I like how this pad keeps the saddle off of his withers anyway. I have a 17 inch saddle and the pad fits great with some room to spare. My horse seems happy with it which makes me happy :)
