I love Walking Cradles, probably the most comfortable brand shoe I've found. Besides, they actually make narrows! Perhaps I'm over-generalizing, but I find the Walking Cradles flats to be a bit more roomy than their higher-heeled shoes in the same size, for me a good thing as I am a slightly large 7N, yet not quite a 7 1/2 N. In the past I've had mixed results in fit with their dressier, heeled shoes, last year returning a couple of pairs and finally finding one really beautiful Walking Cradles dress shoe that eased enough after wearing a bit, one advantage of soft leather. That is pretty much the case with these. Because I bought this shoe at a special sale price, maybe as an odd-sized leftover, I am totally thrilled. But really, having a hard-to-fit foot, I would have probably been satisfied had I paid a little more. I ordered the black patent leather, very simple, dressy, and to me sophisticated. They are really well-made shoes, though less dainty in the toe area than I usually buy. Still, I love the heel, more graceful than shown, and the fit is easing with wear. I've discovered I can actually bend the toes up a bit to loosen that part of the shoe, without damaging it in any way. Last Sunday I wore them for most of the day without discomfort, surprising since I've hardly worn heels this high in years. Wearing these shoes for the first time not only gave inches to my height, but also a lift to my spirits.
